the Wireless connectivity of your notebook and the notebook does not

Matthew, with regard to your response, the issue seems to be related to
hardware malfunction which requires a detailed onsite diagnosis. The
nature of this issue is related to hardware which can be diagnosed in
detail by the Service technician. You may agree with my point that it is
not feasible to perform detailed diagnosis online.
Further, please be informed that HP has identified a hardware issue with
certain HP Pavilion dv6000/dv9000 and Compaq Presario v6000 series
notebook PCs and HP has not found any issues with your notebook model, I
regret for any inconvenience caused to you in this regard.
Additionally, I would like to inform you that parts and services can
only be setup in the country where the product was purchased and
marketed. This is due to major hardware and software differences in and
out of the country of purchase.
At this point, I recommend you to ship the notebook to your
friend/relative in Unites States and ask them to contact any nearby HP
authorized service center to get your notebook repaired. Our technicians
at the service center are well equipped to perform such tests and will
be in a position to assist you appropriately. HP have a network of
Authorized Support Providers for sales and repairs. HP has authorized
Radio Shack, Circuit City and Best Buy as the service provider for the
Pavilion notebooks. For your convenience, I am providing the information

products under the product list.
4. Select your product from the list under the product section and

5. Follow the instructions on the service options page.
